May 28, 2024 release notes

tip
  • You can check the status of your online applications and services (such as CS Connect and Virtual Office CS) via our Online Product Status page.
  • If you're looking for a specific update, but it doesn't appear in this bulletin, go to the GoFileRoom Alerts and notices article.
  • You have the option to receive email notifications that alert you to scheduled system maintenance and GoFileRoom updates. We recommend that all GoFileRoom customers opt in. To manage your Thomson Reuters email notifications, go to Managing your Thomson Reuters email subscriptions.

Issue resolution

  • GoSystem Tax integration: We’ve resolved an issue with the GoSystem Tax and GoFileRoom integration that prevented the Client ID and Client Name indexes from displaying as expected. We thank you for your patience while we resolved this matter. The
    Send to GoFileRoom
feature in GoSystem Tax is now functioning as expected.
  • Grey screen/Loop upon sign-in as a Support/System User account: In certain situations, attempting to sign in, the application wouldn’t properly redirect to the Thomson Reuters Account screen as expected.

API and automation

Did you know an all-new and redesigned Developer Portal has launched? Take time to visit the new Developer Portal featuring improved API discoverability, real-world use cases, and a new community forum. Dive into our video tour for a quick overview of what's new.
Details and instructions on the following new endpoints will be posted to the Thomson Reuters Developer Portal upon the May 28, 2024 release.
New API endpoint: Get Deliverables associated to a FirmFlow WorkFlow
The new endpoint is designed to retrieve deliverables that are related with a specific FirmFlow Workflow. By supplying the Filing ID of a Workflow, users can now obtain a list of all related Deliverables through this endpoint.
The API call is a GET request, and the endpoint URL is: https://firmflow-api-demo.gofileroom.com/api/V1/Workflow/Deliverables
Now accepting Wildcards “*”
The Group and User Document Security, and Tracking Report by Deliverable APIs have been enhanced to accept wildcards along with the index data, similar to the user interface of GoFileRoom.
  • https://api.thomsonreuters.com/gofileroom/api/v1/administration/group/documentsecurity
  • In addition, a new V3 API is given for the Tracking Report by Deliverable to allow Wildcards in the GET request: https://api.thomsonreuters.com/gofileroom.com/api/v3/firmflowreports/TrackingReportByDeliverable
New Endpoint to Move multiple Deliverables within a single call
A new API endpoint is provided that supports the functionality to “Move” a single and multiple deliverables within a single call. Prior versions of GoFileRoom required you to perform the move deliverables action manually from the GoFileRoom user interface.
POST: v1/workflow/moveDeliverable
Upper/Lower Case sensitivity
We have taken action to ensure that the API endpoint can be used with lowercase, uppercase, or mixed-case characters. This change will help to ensure that your API work doesn't produce any unexpected responses, thereby enhancing the overall user-friendliness in your API design and development efforts.
Deliverable APIs Updated with Consistent and More Informative Messaging
The response body for the “Get Deliverable List,” “Add Deliverables,” “Edit Deliverables,” and “Delete Deliverables” endpoints have been modified. For instance, if an API request is submitted with incorrect details, a spelling error, or if the requested data doesn’t exist, the responses will now be more standardized and intuitive across all these endpoints.
Discontinued API Endpoints
The following endpoints have been discontinued as they no longer apply to GoFileRoom because of the migration to the Thomson Reuters Account:
GET and POST: /api/v1/administration/user/passwordpolicy
