Troubleshoot Upload Documents credentials error

Follow these steps if there's an error with your GoFileRoom credentials when you you use the Upload Documents service. You might receive a Scanned Service Alert email.
  1. Open the following folder based on your version of Windows:
    • 32 bit:
      C:\ProgramFiles\GoFileRoom\GFRUploadDocuments\logs
    • 64 bit:
      C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\GoFileRoom\GFRUploadDocuments\logs
  2. Open the most recent log file.
  3. Search for a message similar to: "Login failed for DMSNET: Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
  4. Open Windows Control Panel and select
    System and security
    .
  5. Select
    Administrative Tools
    .
  6. Select
    Services
    .
  7. Right-click
    GoFileRoom Upload Documents
    and select
    Properties
    .
  8. Select the
    Log On
    tab, re-enter the username and password, and select
    Apply
    .
  9. Right-click
    GoFileRoom Upload Documents
    and select
    Start
    .
