Single sign-on configuration

To set up single sign-on, go to
Admin
Firm Configuration
Single Sign On
.
Require SAML authentication to login
As an administrator, select this option so that if an end-user tries to access the product outside of the SSO site, they'll receive a denied access message, unless a redirect URL (or web address) is entered.
Ping location exclusions
This tab appears once single sign-on using SAML authentication is turned on. This options enables you to exclude locations from mandatory logins.
User setup
When an end-user signs in through the SSO site, they'll be asked to enter their network login credentials. If successfully authenticated, they'll be prompted to sign into the product. After this initial sign in, end-users won't be asked again for their product credentials unless they're defederated.
Defederating users
This means end-user's credentials won't be recognized on the server. If there's a need for end-users to be federated again, end-users will need to go through the initial sign in process again.
