Import a DIF file into allocation and apportionment

For 1065 and 1120, use the provided templates for importing and exporting data with A&A Data Entry. To transfer A&A factor details, tabulate them in the spreadsheet, save it as a DIF file, and import it into A&A Data Entry. You can also export details from Data Entry to a DIF spreadsheet file.
Before importing, save the *.xls file as a DIF file by selecting
File
, then
Save As
, then
DIF
(Data Interchange Format) in your spreadsheet application.
Do not insert rows or columns in the spreadsheet, as the KAT template must remain unchanged.
