Cause

This return meets these conditions:
  • Has a Form 1040NR with a Form 1042-S that has income.
  • Uses income codes 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 25, 26, 27, 32, 35, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, or 54.
  • The income isn't reported on the 1040NR, Page 4, on the Dividend Equivalent line or on Schedule C.
