e-filing Schedules K-2 and K-3

For tax year 2023, you can e-file Schedule K-2 and K-3 in XML format but you can't e-file them in PDF format.

Background

We made changes in
Organizer
,
Foreign Information
,
Ptr Distributive Share-International
, and then
K-2,K-3 Activation and General Info
where we removed the override fields in the
Applicable Parts of Federal Schedule K-2 and Schedule K-3
sections for tax year 2023.
At the beginning of tax year 2022, there was uncertainty on whether the IRS would allow Schedules K-2 and K-3 to be e-filed in PDF format, so these override fields existed in Organizer. When the IRS decided not to allow e-filing in PDF format for tax year 2022 and only allowed e-filing in XML format, we added cautions for tax year 2022 so these fields wouldn't be used for e-filed returns.
For tax year 2023, we removed the override fields, because these fields are automatically calculated and shouldn't be overridden.
