Print invoices

In Practice CS, invoices can be printed from 3 places.
  1. Detail Billing: When using Detail Billing to create the invoice, after you've entered the billing amounts and composed the invoice and are ready to save the invoice, select the

button. The invoice will be saved and you will be presented with the print options screen to print this invoice.
  2. Billing Review screen: After saving an invoice in detail billing, generating recurring bills, or using quick bill, standard bill or zero bill to generate invoices, these invoices will be placed on the Billing Review tab. Filter the screen to view the invoices to print, then mark the checkbox in front of each invoice to print and select
    Print Selected
. You'll be presented with the print options screen to print the selected invoices.
  3. Print Invoices and Statements: Go to
    File
    then
    Print Invoices & Statements
    and select the
    Invoices
tab. There you'll find the same invoices as on the Billing Review tab. Filter the screen to view the invoices to print, then mark the checkboxes to print and select
    Print Selected
. You'll be presented with the print options screen to print the selected invoices.

When you select

Create a link to the FileCabinet CS document

Select the icon to open the invoice image stored in FileCabinet CS.
  • GoFileRoom
(you'll need to have the GoFileRoom client add-in installed on this computer): Select the format for the invoice image to be stored in from these 4 choices: Adobe Acrobat (*.pdf), Rich Text Format (*.rtf), Text file (*.txt), or Microsoft Excel (*.xls). You may also create a link to the invoice file stored in GoFileRoom (see description of link under FileCabinet CS).

The email message will be sent to the primary email on the client contact plus any additional email addresses entered in the
    Additional Email addresses
field on the Billing and A/R tab on the Clients screen. You may also select to save the email messages to your drafts folder so they can be reviewed before they are sent.
  • NetClient CS
(you'll need to be licensed for NetClient CS): Sends the invoice to the client's NetClient CS portal. The client will receive an email message advising them that an invoice has been uploaded to their portal. If you have online credit card processing enabled, the client can pay the invoice with a credit card from the portal.
