R0000-092-02 e-file error

'PrimarySSN' in the Return Header must be within the valid range of SSN/ITIN and must not be an ATIN.
You'll get this error if you enter an invalid taxpayer SSN.

Solution

  1. Go to the 1040 screen in the General folder.
  2. Check the
    SSN
    field.
  3. Correct any mistakes.
  4. Recreate and retransmit the return.
Valid ITIN ranges, as defined by the IRS, include:
  • 900-70-0000 through 999-88-9999
  • 900-90-0000 through 999-92-9999
  • 900-94-0000 through 999-99-9999
