SH-F1040-001 e-file error

Schedule H (Form 1040), 'SSN' must be equal to the 'PrimarySSN' or 'SpouseSSN' in the Return Header. (rule SH-F1040-001)
The SSN entered on Schedule H needs to match the SSN of the Taxpayer or Spouse. Here are a few things that may cause this rejection.

Solution

  • Review the
    T,S
    field on the H screen, in the Taxes folder. Make sure the correct spouse is selected.
  • Verify that there isn't an extra blank unit of the H screen.
  • Delete any overrides on Form H.
