Form 1040-V won't print and can't be submitted with a paper filed Form 1040-X
UltraTax CS won't print Form 1040-V with a paper filed Form 1040-X.
Per the Form 1040-V instructions, Form 1040-V is a statement sent with a check or money order for any balance due on Form 1040, Form 1040-SR, or Form 1040-NR. Because Form 1040-X isn't listed, Form 1040-V can't be used with a paper filed Form 1040-X.
The IRS has given guidance on how to mail a paper check if the Form 1040-X is e-filed.
