Troubleshoot mass dispositions
Use the mass disposition of assets feature located in the asset module to sell a group of like-kind assets for 1 sales price or to trade multiple assets for 1 asset. It's important that you dispose only like-kind assets disposed together (for example, section 1245 property with other section 1245 property). If you group different types of property together, the lowest asset number in the mass asset disposition is used to determine the treatment of the disposition. For example, if the lowest asset number in the group is Section 1245 property, then all assets selected in the mass disposition is classified as Section 1245 property. This may result in incorrect calculations of prior depreciation.
