e-filing: 1065 New York City (NYC)

E-file mandate
Any tax preparers filing more than 100 tax returns need to electronically file NYC returns.
Forms included in the e-file
All NYC return types, forms, and supporting documents are supported for e-filing and are automatically included in the e-file with the exception of Form NYC-200-V, which needs to be paper filed.
Payment options
You can pay a balance due on Form NYC-204 or NYC-EXT with EFW or a check. If the balance due is paid via check, complete and mail Form NYC-200-V with your check. NYC Department of Finance requires that Form NYC-5UB estimates be paid via EFW, no exceptions. No payments are required for Form NYC-204-EZ.
To properly set up electronic funds withdrawal, bank information and a withdrawal date need to be entered. If bank information is entered on federal screen Bank, that information will transfer to NY/NYC. Otherwise, use the NYBank screen to enter account information. Enter the withdrawal date in the
Requested payment date
field on the NYCELF screen, in the NY City folder. If you're filing the return after the due date, the withdrawal date needs to match the signature date.
