Single member LLC: 1065 Rhode Island (RI)
UltraTax CS doesn't support the Single Member LLC in 1065-RI. Instead, the Rhode Island Single Member LLC can be found in UltraTax CS/1040. To add the RI-1065 SMLLC, open or create a 1040-RI client and mark
Form RI-1065 Limited Liability Company
on the Rhode Island tab of the New Client
dialog or the Client Properties
dialog. The reason the LLC is not included as part of the 1065 module is that a single member LLC is a disregarded entity (one person). Rhode Island requires that partnerships return have more than one partner in order to e-file, and Rhode Island has an e-file mandate.
