Configure email notifications on a client-by-client basis

You can configure email notifications for accepted federal and state returns filed electronically on a client-by-client basis or for multiple clients at the same time.
note
UltraTax CS doesn't send email notifications for rejected returns.
Follow these steps to configure email notifications on a client-by-client basis.
  1. Complete the
    Email address
    field in the Contact screen in the General folder. UltraTax CS sends the acceptance notification to the email address entered in this field.
  2. Select
    1
    (Return) or
    2
    (Return/Extension) in the
    Email notification when electronic file is accepted by taxing agency
    field in the ELF screen in the Electronic Filing folder.

    Select
    ELF / eSign Options
    in
    Setup
    ,
    Client Communications
    to select firm, preparer, reviewer, or staff as the sender ("on behalf of") of the email notification. You can also mark the checkbox to send a blind copy (bcc) of the email notification.
