Calculate Schedule R
UltraTax CS calculates and prints Schedule R and answers Yes to the apportionment question on Side 2 of Form 100, 100W, or 100S if there is any data entered in the CAAlloc screen or in Apportionment Information. To enter apportionment information, choose View > Apportionment.
If you assign an apportion code in the asset module, UltraTax CS also uses this information to complete Schedule R. The
Apportion code
field in the asset module should only be completed for a multi-state return.note
Apportionment data on Schedule R-1 may not match what was entered in Apportionment Information because Schedule R-1 includes apportionment of a controlled foreign corporation as reported on Form 2416, in addition to data entered in Apportionment Information.
