Filing the annual report

A corporation should only file the New Jersey Annual Report once a year. You can electronically file the annual report via UltraTax CS or on the State's website.
The corporation needs to have a valid New Jersey identification number to properly file the report. If you don't know the New Jersey identification number, you can search the corporation's name on the New Jersey Business Name Search portal.
You can verify the current status of the annual report by entering the corporation’s New Jersey identification number, business type, and incorporation/authorization date on the New Jersey Annual Report portal.
Each member of a combined New Jersey C corporation return (allowed for periods after June 30, 2019) need to file their New Jersey Annual report separately. Combined reporting of the New Jersey Annual Report isn't permitted.
