Examine CS Connect history

You can review your CS Connect activity to get a history for things like transmitting returns, downloading PRP codes, updates, acknowledgements, and more. You can also use this to troubleshoot errors you might get while using CS Connect.
  1. In UltraTax CS, go to the
    Help
    menu and select
    Repair
    .
  2. Go to the
    Misc
    tab.
  3. To view CS Connect activity for a single user, select
    View Call History
    . This provides a summary of the messages a user would get after using CS Connect (the red plug). You can use this to determine things like when an update was applied, when e-files were sent, or when a PRP code was downloaded.
  4. To create a detailed report of your firm's interactions with the CS Connect server, select
    View Connection Log
    . This report details every interaction, including background services, with CS Connect. It will show information like files accessed and connection details. This is useful for troubleshooting CS Connect error messages.
