Create a list of clients who haven't been filed

You can use Client Listing reports to create a list of clients that you haven't electronically transmitted a return for. Note this list won't consider returns you paper filed. If you'd like to create a list for paper filed returns, you'll need to create and log custom status events before you can get a report.
  1. In UltraTax CS, go to the
    Utilities
    menu.
  2. Select
    Client Listing Reports
    .
  3. Select
    Client ELF Summary
    , then
    Continue
    .
  4. In the Select Clients for Report window, make sure the
    Focus
    section has the correct entities, preparers, and Event selected.
  5. In the ELF filters section, change
    By status
    to
    Not Transmitted
    .
  6. Choose
    Select All
    to select all of your clients.
  7. Either Preview, Print, or Export the report to get a list of clients.
If a client's return is e-filed and rejected, the client's return won't be in this report. We recommend you repeat the steps above and choose
Rejected (not recreated)
in step 5.
