Re-proforma all returns except certain PPT returns

You can re-proforma all client data except the property tax return data into this year's application. The client's property tax return won't be re-proforma'd and will retain its current-year data.
  1. Select
    Utilities
    then
    Proforma
    to open the
    Proforma
    window.
  2. From the dropdown, select
    Clients
    if it's not already selected.
  3. In the
    Focus
    section, select the type of clients you want to appear in the list. You can focus the client listing by entity type, preparer/reviewer/staff, fiscal year end, and/or prior-year events.
  4. To include clients whose data has already been proforma'd, clear the
    Exclude proforma'd clients
    checkbox.
  5. In the
    Data to proforma
    section, the
    UltraTax CS
    option is selected by default. If the data to be proforma'd is on an external storage device, select
    Backup
    .
  6. Verify that the drive and path of last year's data are correct. If not, you'll need to specify the correct location, or select the correct prior-year UltraTax CS data location from the dropdown in the
    Data to proforma
    section.
  7. In the
    Available to proforma
    pane, select the client or clients whose data you want to proforma and choose
    Select
    . The selected clients move to the
    Selected to proforma
    pane. To remove a client from the proforma list, select the client's name in the
    Selected to proforma
    pane then select
    Remove
    .
  8. Mark the
    Re-proforma all returns except certain PPT returns
    checkbox.
  9. When all the clients whose data you want to proforma appear in the
    Selected to proforma
    pane, select
    Proforma
    .
  10. When the
    Overwrite Previously Proforma'd Clients
    message box appears, select
    Yes To All
    . The
    Proforma status
    window appears, indicating the progress of the proforma process.
  11. After the proforma is complete, select
    Done
    .
