Important questions and concerns about the upgrade

Use the questions and concerns listed here if you have issues with your Thomson Reuters Account upgrade.
  • I have multiple portals I need to login to; how do I do this if I only have 1 email address?
  • I have multiple Thomson Reuters Accounts for NetStaff CS and/or NetClient CS. When I attempt to access my second account, it takes me into my first account.
    • Both accounts cannot be accessed at the same time within the same browser. You must sign out of your first account prior to signing in to your second account. Otherwise, you must use two different browsers to access both accounts at the same time.
  • I’m a Virtual Office CS Microsoft Exchange user, I can’t access my email to retrieve a new password.
    • Please contact Support for assistance. Once authenticated, please consider setting up a secondary authentication method (Text Message, etc.) via your Manage Thomson Reuters Account page.
  • When attempting to launch Accounting CS Client Access, I receive the message “The HTTP request did not return a successful status code.”
    • Verify you have logged into both your NetStaff CS account AND your NetClient CS account with two unique Thomson Reuters Accounts, one for the NetClient CS account and one for the NetStaff CS account. When launching Accounting CS Client Access, login with your Thomson Reuters Account associated with your NetClient CS user who has access to Accounting CS Client Access.
  • I’m signing into my CS Professional Suite desktop application and not being prompted for the new Thomson Reuters Account.
    • Desktop applications will not present the new Thomson Reuters Account sign in experience until firms have downloaded the updated application (either via CS Web or CS Connect) once those applications are made available.
    • Applications currently available for web download include: Accounting CS, Workpapers CS, Practice CS, and FileCabinet CS.
