Print and scan with Azure Virtual Desktop

Before you can print and scan with Azure Virtual Desktop, you need to adjust your default settings.

Set a default printer and scanner

  1. For Windows computers, open your Start Menu and scroll to find
    TerminalWorks
    .
  2. Select
    TerminalWorks
    , then open
    Options
    .
  3. After the Options window opens, select your preferred printer as the
    Default Printer
    .
  4. Open the
    Redirection
    tab and mark the
    Always map default printer
    checkbox and any additional printers you want to map.
  5. Select
    Apply
    to save your changes.
  6. When you print, select
    TSPrint Default
    to print from a
    Virtual Office CS or SaaS
    application powered by Azure Virtual Desktop.
  7. Go back to your Start Menu and scroll to find
    TerminalWorks again
    .
  8. Select
    TerrminalWorks
    .
  9. Open
    TSScan Client Settings
    .
  10. Choose
    Select Default Scanner
    to set your preferred scanner.

Formatting issues

If your documents or machines have custom margins or fonts that appear incorrect when you print, you can try another setting in TSPrint.
  1. For Windows computers, open your Start Menu and scroll to find
    TerminalWorks
    .
  2. Select
    TerminalWorks
    , then open
    Options.
  3. In the General tab, find the PDF Print Engine dropdown and choose another option instead of Default. If you have more questions, TerminalWorks has a TSPrint Guide.

Accounting CS printing document types

In Accounting CS, select the desired printer for each document output type in the Printers tab in
Setup

User Preferences
