Troubleshoot Citrix icon not displaying in the Windows system tray

For occasional troubleshooting and other uses, it may be necessary to access Citrix and its Connection Center through your Windows system tray. If the Connection Center icon doesn't appear in your system tray, follow these steps.
  1. Open the Start menu, select
    Settings
    , then
    Notifications & actions
    .
  2. Choose
    Select which icons appear on the taskbar
    . Find
    Citrix Workspace Application
    in the list and turn it on.
  3. Select
    OK
    or close the window. The Citrix icon should now appear in the system tray.
As an alternative, you can create a shortcut that opens the Citrix Connection Center. To do this:
  1. Go to
    C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICA Client
    (or
    C:\Program Files (x86)\...
    if using a 64-bit machine).
  2. Right-click the
    concentr.exe
    application file and select
    Send to
    , then
    Desktop
    to add a shortcut icon on your desktop.
  3. Double-click this shortcut to open the Citrix Connection Center.
