Migrations will occur over a weekend and your firm's Licensee will be notified two weeks prior to your scheduled migration date. A client executive will also call to make sure the Licensee has access to the necessary materials and support, and will cover the remaining email communications that will be delivered throughout the migration process
To get you started, we've created an Staff email template to communicate these changes with Staff.
Client accounts
If you have clients that use Virtual Client Office, then they will be migrated on the same day as your firm. Virtual Client Office users includes clients that access Accounting CS Client Access or Client FileCabinet CS or Microsoft Office products through NetClient CS.
To prepare your clients,
- We created a Virtual Client Office version of this same page to cover migration and setup steps, with an interactive guide and video.
- We have a email template for Clients you can use to communicate this change as needed:
Citrix
After the migration, if your firm does not utilize Citrix for any non-Virtual Office CS/Software as a Service applications, you can uninstall it. Otherwise, Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop can both exist on your computer.
