Turn on ActiveSync for Android or iOS devices

Follow these steps after your firm's NetFirm CS administrator turns on ActiveSync for your NetStaff CS account.
  1. In NetStaff CS, select your name and then select
    Change Exchange password
    .
  2. For an Android device:
    1. Select
      Mail
      on your mobile device.
    2. Select
      Menu
      , then
      New Account
      .
    3. Select
      Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
      .
  3. For an iOS device:
    1. Select
      Settings
      on your mobile device.
    2. Select
      Mail
      .
    3. Select
      Accounts
      .
    4. Select
      Add Account
      .
    5. Select
      Microsoft Exchange
      .
  4. Enter this information in the following fields:
    • Email
      : The email address specified in the ActiveSync activation email message
    • Server
      : webmail.netlinksolution.com
    • Domain
      : portal
    • Username
      : The hash ID for the portal
    • Password
      : Your Exchange password
  5. Save your changes.
Make sure that your personal Microsoft Outlook information (email, calendar, contacts) has successfully updated on your mobile device. Try the following if you have trouble getting data to sync with your mobile device:
  • Sign in to NetStaff CS and open Outlook. Make sure that your email, calendars, and contacts are listed under
    Mailbox - <your name>
    and not in a personal folder. ActiveSync can't sync data in personal folders.
  • Delete the account from your mobile device and repeat the previous steps to add the account again.
