Notifications added to the Tasks widget by default

By default, NetFirm CS sends notification messages to people using NetClient CS and NetStaff CS when certain things happen. For example, when the sign-in for a portal has changed.
NetFirm CS automatically adds notification messages about the following items to the Tasks widget.
  • Action items
     — UltraTax CS creates messages in the Tasks widget. NetFirm CS removes the messages when the person has opened the documents that need action.
  • Password is about it expire
     — NetFirm CS adds a message to the Tasks widget 3 days before a person's password expires. It will remove the message when that person resets their password.
  • Security questions
     — NetFirm CS adds a message to the Tasks widget for any person who hasn't set up security questions. It will remove the message when the person has set up their security questions.
  • eSignature request
     — When you send an eSignature request from UltraTax CS to a person using the portal, NetFirm CS adds a message in the Tasks widget. It removes the message when the person signs the document or declines the request.
  • New payroll worksheets
     — When you send a new payroll worksheet through Accounting CS Payroll or Payroll CS to a person using NetClient CS, NetFirm CS adds a message in the Tasks widget. It will remove the message when the person selects
    Complete
     in the payroll worksheet.
  • New tax organizer
     — When you send a tax organizer through UltraTax CS to a person using NetClient CS, NetFirm CS adds a message in the Tasks widget. It will remove the message when the person selects
    Send to Preparer
     in the organizer.
