April 2024 feature updates
Overview
For customers with sandbox/UAT instances, Collaborate 5.8.0 will be deployed to sandbox/UAT instances over the 6th-7th April, then production deployment will take place over the 20th-21st April.
For customers without sandbox/UAT instances, Collaborate 5.8.0 will be deployed to production instances over the 13th-14th April.
Publisher 5.8.0 will be deployed to sandbox/UAT instances over the 6th-7th April, then production deployment will take place over the 20th-21st April.
HighQ Collaborate feature release highlights
Search
- The behaviour of the global search field in the top navigation now matches the behaviour when searching from the Files module. This ensures that all relevant metadata fields are displayed in the advanced search modal (i.e. it shows iSheet columns & views specific to the site), irrespective of where the user initiates the search.
In-line editing for the status field
- Users can now in-line edit status fields without viewing a task in full. This applies to the task list and the hierarchy view.
HighQ Publisher feature release highlights

As HighQ Collaborate advances to version 5.8.0, we are aligning HighQ Publisher with the same version update, despite it not undergoing a major update. This move ensures alignment between the two products, promoting consistency and ease of use.
Enhancing Customisation for Dashboards
- We are adding the siteID and the homePageID/systemDashboardID as classes in the CSS body, allowing for more targeted styling and ensuring that your custom styles are applied precisely to the intended pages or dashboards
Performance and security improvements
Files
- Loading folder trees is now 80% faster
Users
- Accessing user lists is now 30% quicker
Configuration
- Updating instance configuration when swagger is enabled is 90% faster
