More actions for Site templates

The
More actions
menu provides several options (some options are only available to administrators), detailed below. To access the menu, select
More actions
in the
Manage templates
screen:
In this menu, you have access to the following options:

View details

The
View details
option opens a list of the columns shown on the
Manage templates
screen.

Create site

The
Create site
option enables you to create a new site using the template you selected.

Edit details

In the
More actions
dropdown, select
Edit details
to edit the details of the template.
The
Edit template
screen opens:
This screen provides you with the chance to quickly edit the details that are important for managing a template. Select
Save
to save your changes.

View modules

The
View modules
option shows which modules in the template are active. Navigate to
More actions
>
View modules
.
The
Modules in template
screen opens:
This screen lists all of the active modules in the template.

Share

You can share the template via
More actions
>
Share
.
The
Share
screen opens
:
You can share the template via
Email
,
Link
,
Message
or a
Microblog
.

Set status

Navigate to
More actions
>
Set status
to change the status of the template to either
Archived
or
Preparation
.
  • Archived
    means the template will not be available to create a site from, but you can still
    Export
    ,
    Edit
    ,
    View modules
    and
    Share
    the template.
  • Preparation
    means that the template is ready to be used to create a site.

Set site purpose

Set a site purpose to help find and organise your templates. To set the category of the template, navigate to

>
Set site purpose

The
Set site purpose
screen opens:
Select one or more purposes for your template.
Audit history
This option is for system administrators. Navigate to
More actions
>
Audit history
.
The
Audit history
screen opens:
Go to site admin
This option is for system administrators and for sites that you have created only. Navigate to
More actions
>
Go to site admin
.
This opens the
site admin
panel.
Export template
To export the template, navigate to
More actions
>
Export template
.
