Security notice: beware of phishing, product update, and plugin scams

We have received reports of phishing emails threatening account blockages or requiring users to install essential product updates or plugins, with fraudulent links for recipients to click within the email. These emails appear to be from Thomson Reuters, but they are not legitimate and are not from Thomson Reuters.

What to do

  • Delete and report any suspected phishing emails to Thomson Reuters Support.

  • Delete any software you downloaded from these links and run an antivirus scan.
  • Immediately investigate any suspected unauthorized product access.
