Prepare form W-2

Locate state W-2 forms in the application

When a state form is listed as a Type W-2 in the
Payroll Taxes
 tab of the
Client
 screen, the form can be found in 2 areas of the application:
  • Process Payroll Tax Forms
     screen
  • Edit Payroll Tax Forms
     screen

Process Payroll Tax Forms

To access the screen select
Actions
 then
Process Payroll Tax Forms
. Here you can preview or print specified payroll tax forms for all or selected clients.
  • Form type: W-2.
  • Select the appropriate year.
  • Filing method, Filed by, and Status are optional.
  • Select the state in the
    Jurisdiction
     dropdown.

Edit Payroll Tax Forms

To access the screen select
Actions
 then
Edit Payroll Tax Forms
. Here you can preview or print specified payroll tax forms for 1 client.
  • Form type: W-2.
  • Select the appropriate year.
  • Select
    Refresh
    .
  • Select
    Transmittal
     from the
    Form
     dropdown.
