Checkpoint Engage procedure progress on the home dashboard

There is a new column for procedure progress on the home dashboard. This will let you track the progress of procedures signed off inside Checkpoint Engage documents across all open engagements at the same time. This new progress percent will give increased visibility to help prioritize work and meet deadlines.

Improved warnings for failed uploads

We're adding more indications that uploads have failed. These 3 features were meant to make it more immediately clear that there is a problem with your upload that needs correction:
  • The icon in the reference column shows an exclamation point icon when there is a file with a deleted status.
  • If an upload has failed during the current session, the red banner will remain visible until you dismiss the banner.
  • Sign off, edit, view, copy, export, and user assignment features are not available on documents until they are completely uploaded.

Type ahead search added to the template field

When adding a new engagement and adding from a template, you can now click into the template selection field and type in the name of the template that you would like to use. This saves time when selecting a template from the list.

Other issues resolved

  • IP restrictions entered in GoFileRoom are enforced on the AdvanceFlow sign-in screen again.
  • We've corrected an issue when trying to edit your own username in the manage users screen. You'll now only be able to edit your initials or AdvanceFlow permission group on your own user. Formerly, an access denied message was appearing and you may lose your GoFileRoom permissions when trying to edit your own user in the
    Manage Users
    screen.
  • We've corrected an issue where the roll-forward treatment field may show a number instead of text in the workpaper properties of a document added from GoFileRoom.
  • You can preview documents when adding workpapers from GoFileRoom when the document is associated with another engagement that is in the recycle bin.
  • We've added messaging when certain very large Word or Excel documents can't be previewed. Instead of a generic server error or out-of-memory error, the message will say:
Preview is not supported for this type of file. Select Edit or Manage and then Export to view the file in its default application.
  • Add
    ,
    Sign off
    , and
    Administration
options have been removed from the right-click menu of the
    Workpapers
    tab in Engagement templates.
  • In the alerts drawer, if you select a specific set of clients, the filtering options are remembered.
  • When property codes are edited in the trial balance spreadsheet import, the typed data is added to the trial balance.
  • If a consolidated engagement is rolled forward, and the child engagement was already rolled forward first, the engagement rolls forward properly. This corrects an issue when a loading circle would appear indefinitely in the roll-forward wizard on a consolidated engagement.
  • Disabled account groupings, in the
    Setup
    Account Groupings
screen, are no longer displayed when adding a new engagement.
  • A minimum column width was added to the actions column on the engagements dashboard. This improves the experience of resizing the columns in the dashboard by making it clearer that the column data can exceed the screen width.
