Email settings for firewall and spam filters

Email from Thomson Reuters will sometimes get flagged as spam or junk. Here's how to prevent that from happening.

Email addresses used vary, but you can add these three domains to your email allow list:
  • thomson.com
  • thomsonreuters.com
  • tr.com
After you've added these to your email allow list, you should also allow Thomson Reuters IP addresses in your firewall if you're using networked applications. Thomson Reuters uses the
167.68
range of IP addresses. Add everything in that range to your firewall's allow list.

Amazon Web Services Applications

Some of our applications use Amazon Web Servers instead of Thomson Reuters servers. This includes GoFileRoom and AdvanceFlow.
If you're using these applications and experiencing connection issues, then you can follow these additional troubleshooting options:
  • Add exceptions for the application's URL (Uniform Resource Locator).
    note
Example: If you use GoFileRoom, allow gofileroom.com, or advanceflow.com if you're using AdvanceFlow.
  • Allow the IP address for Amazon using the US East 1 ranges.
