Checkpoint Edge quick reference

Checkpoint
Edge
password and login policy

Checkpoint
Edge
doesn't permit more than one login with the same user ID at the same time.
If you're logged into Checkpoint
Edge
on one device or browser and try to log in on another, you'll be prompted to close the first session.
Checkpoint
Edge
passwords are encrypted, so you'll need to create your own password if you want to access Checkpoint
Edge
on multiple devices and browsers. You can select
Create a password for me
, but a system-generated password won't enable you to log in with other devices such as smartphones, tablets, or other PCs.
To save your password on multiple devices, you need to enter it on each device. If you change your password, you need to change it on all devices or applications (such as OneSource, and UltraTax CS) that have the old password saved.
Checkpoint
Edge
seamless access
If you're using Checkpoint
Edge
through seamless access, there are additional password and login policies.
note
You most likely use seamless access if you log into Checkpoint
Edge
anywhere other than http://checkpoint.tr.com. The most common types of seamless access are IP address authentication, corporate token authentication, or Single Sign On (SSO) authentication using a third-party application like PingFederate.
