Email a workpaper from Engagement Manager

Follow these steps to email a workpaper from an engagement in Engagement Manager.
  1. In Engagement Manager, select the
    Workpapers
    tab of the engagement with the workpaper you want to email.
  2. Right-click the workpaper you want to email and select
    Email
    , then one of the following:
    • Email via Engagement Manager
      : Choose this option to send an email from within Engagement Manager.
      1. Enter an email address, subject, and message.
    • Email via Outlook
      : Choose this option to send an email from Microsoft Outlook.
  3. Select one of the following from the
    Send as
    dropdown:
    • Attachment
      : the workpaper will be attached to the message.
    • Compressed
      : The workpaper will be attached to the message as a ZIP file. Only Word, Excel, and PDF files will be zipped.
    • Hyperlink
      (requires GoFileRoom login): A link to the workpaper will be included in the email. The recipient must have a valid GoFileRoom login to access the workpaper. This option is intended for use when sending an email to another staff member at your firm.
  4. Mark
    Convert to PDF
    if you want to send the workpaper as a PDF.
    • Select
      Individual
      if you want to send a separate PDF for each file.
    • Select
      Combined
      to send all files in 1 PDF.
  5. Select
    Send
    .
    If you're sending the email through Outlook, a new untitled message opens that includes the attached workpapers, compressed files, or workpaper link. Enter email addresses and any other information you want to include and send the email using Outlook.
