Move financial statements converted from Engagement CS or Trial Balance CS to AdvanceFlow

If you created financial statements in the Financial Reporter module of Engagement CS or Trial Balance CS, you can move them to AdvanceFlow as a new workpaper. Then you can format the workpaper to link to the trial balance data with the AdvanceFlow add-in
  1. Open the client in Creative Solutions Accounting.
  2. From the main window, select
    Setup
     then
    Financial Statements
    .
  3. Open the statement.
  4. Select
    Utilities
     and choose
    Export
    .
  5. Choose a save file location you can easily get to. 
  6. Choose
    Comma Separated Export (*.csv)
     for the
    Save as type
    .
  7. Select
    Save
    .
  8. Open your
    File Explorer
     and go to the folder containing the new .csv file.
  9. Right-click the file, select
    Open with
    , then choose
    Excel
    .
  10. In Excel select
    File
    , then
    Save As
    .
  11. Save the file as an
    Excel Workbook (*.xlsx)
    .
  12. Close the file.
  13. Add the external file to the AdvanceFlow engagement.
  14. Open the workpaper to edit it.
  15. Format the content of the file as needed, and insert AdvanceFlow Engagement Links to link to the trial balance and client data.
