Add Lacerte Tax as a vendor in AdvanceFlow engagements

You can import AdvanceFlow trial balances into Lacerte Tax. Before you can do that, you'll have to add it as a vendor in AdvanceFlow. Follow these steps to get started.
  1. Sign in to AdvanceFlow.
  2. Select Setup menu button with a cog icon.
    Setup
    , then
    Firm Settings
    .
  3. Under Tax Information, mark the
    Lacerte Tax
     checkbox, then
    Save
    .
  4. Return to the
    Engagement dashboard
     and select the name of an engagement to view it.
  5. Select the
    Properties
     tab from the navigation pane.
  6. Select
    Lacerte Tax
     from the
    Vendor
     dropdown list.
  7. Select
    Save
    .

Export Lacerte Tax data from AdvanceFlow

Before you import your AdvanceFlow balances, make sure Lacerte Tax is selected as a vendor for your engagement.
You can export trial balance data from your AdvanceFlow engagement to import into Lacerte Tax.
  1. On the Engagement dashboard, select the name of the engagement you want to export.
  2. Select the
    Trial Balance
     tab on the navigation pane.
  3. Select
    Data
    .
  4. Choose the type of data you want to export.
  5. Select
    OK
    .
  6. Save the export to the tax year folder in Lacerte Tax.
  7. Give your AdvanceFlow export the same ID as your Lacerte Tax client.
