Import a lookup list

You can create a lookup list in a text file or Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and import it into GoFileRoom.
important
  • The file name needs to be the same as the drawer's ID in GoFileRoom. To obtain this information, follow the steps in Determine the GoFileRoom Drawer ID and List ID.
  • The spreadsheet needs to be an Excel spreadsheet XLS or XLSX formatted in text.
  1. Select
    Administration
    , then
    Manage Fileroom
    .
  2. In the Lists tab, select
    Manage Lookup Lists
    .
  3. Select
    Import
    .
  4. Select
    Choose File
    and browse to the text file or Excel file that you created.
  5. Select
    OK
    .
    Depending on the size of the file being imported, it may take a couple of minutes for the new lookup list to be available for use.
