Publish documents from Engagement Manager

If your firm is licensed for Engagement Manager, your staff can send documents to client portals from Engagement Manager using ClientFlow and add documents that clients upload through their portal to GoFileRoom.

Publish documents

Engagement Manager users can quickly publish documents to the portal for their clients.
  1. Right-click a document on the
    Workpapers
    tab, then select
    Client Portal
    .
  2. Select
    Publish
    .
You can customize the Workpapers tab to display the NetClient CS column to indicate if a workpaper has been published.
To add this column:
  1. Select
    Show/Hide Columns
    on the toolbar, then select
    Client Portal
    from the Available Columns pane.

Adding documents from clients

If clients add documents to their portals, Engagement Manager users can re-index the document to the correct file section, document type, period, and year, as follows.
  1. Select
    Add Workpaper
    in the
    Workpapers
    tab.
  2. Select
    GoFileRoom
    from the Source field in the Add Workpaper wizard, then select
    Next
    .
  3. Select search to check the details on the ClientFlow file section, and update any fields as needed.
  4. Select
    OK
    to close the Add Workpaper window, then select
    Next
    to continue adding the document.
