Set up SurePrep

If you have administrative privileges, you can set up and configure SurePrep integration with GoFileRoom.
  1. In GoFileRoom select
    Administration
    , then select
    Manage FirmFlow
    .
  2. Open the
    Configuration
    tab.
  3. For Drawer, select
    Clients
    .
  4. For Service, select
    Tax
    .
  5. For Category, select
    General
    .
  6. Mark
    Enable SurePrep Integration
    checkbox.
  7. Select
    Administration
    , then select
    Manage FirmFlow
  8. Select the
    Lists
    tab.
  9. For list, select
    Workflows and Steps
    .
  10. Name the workflow
    SurePrep Tax Return
    , then select
    Add
    .
    The name will appear in all uppercase letters in the Workflow pane.
  11. In the Workflow Steps section, enter steps in the available fields and select
    Add
    after each entry.
    The following steps are recommended:
    • Project Setup
    • Organize
    • SurePrep
      (required)
    • Preparation
      (required)
    • Manager Review
    • Review Comments
    • Partner Review
    • Assembly
    • Signature
    • Delivery
    • Client Approval (E-File)
    • Government Approval (E-File)
    • Completed
  12. Select
    Administration
    , then
    Manage Fileroom
  13. Select the
    Lists
    tab, then select
    Clients
    .
  14. Add new document types to
    File Section: Individual Tax 1040
    • --------SurePrep-------- (optional)
    • Sureprep Source Documents (required)
    • Dream Workpapers (required)
    Repeat this for all
    File Sections
    for which SurePrep is used to sort the source documents, for example if you use SurePrep for any business returns.
