Create notification rules for SurePrep documents

Follow these steps to create SurePrep notification rules after setting up SurePrep integration features.

SurePrep notification rules transfer indexed documents from GoFileRoom to SurePrep. You must set up SurePrep notification rules for adding, deleting, and reindexing documents to make sure that GoFileRoom documents are properly sent to SurePrep.

You must have administrative permissions to complete these steps.
  1. Select
    Home
     in the GoFileRoom toolbar.
  2. Select
    Notification Rules
     in the My Alerts section.
  3. Select Add Document Rule
    Add
    , then
    Document Rule
    .
  4. Select
    When a document is added
     from the
    Action to Notify
     dropdown.
  5. Name the rule
    SurePrep source document added
    , and mark the checkbox for the recipients of the notification. Make sure that
    Make this rule available to other people
     is set to
    No
    , and select
    Next
    .
    note
    During initial setup and testing it is recommended you select
    Send notification to me
    . You can choose to disable notification
    Email and Alert
     from the Notification Rules page after SurePrep integration has proven successful.
  6. Select
    In the drawer
    , then choose
    Select
    .
  7. Select the
    Clients
     drawer in the popup window, then select
    Done
    .
  8. In the Property dropdown, select
    Document Type
    .
  9. In the Containing Values dropdown, select
    SurePrep Source Documents
    , and select
    Next
    .
  10. You don't need to add anything in the
    Exceptions
     tab, select
    Done
    .
  11. Repeat the previous steps two more times with the following exceptions to create notification rules for when SurePrep documents are deleted or reindexed.
    • In step 4, select
      When a document is deleted
       in
      Action to Notify
      . In step 5, name the rule
      SurePrep source document deleted
      .
    • In step 4, select
      When a document is reindexed
       in
      Action to Notify
      . In step 5, name the rule
      SurePrep source document reindexed
      .
