General

GoFileRoom self-service document restoration: New feature that gives Administrators and Records Managers at your firm the ability to restore documents independently.
Potential scenarios for using the self-service restore feature include:
  • Accidental deletion of important documents
  • Correction of improper document changes
  • Retrieval of previous versions of documents for audit purposes
Past versions of GoFileRoom didn’t have this feature and your firm needed to contact Thomson Reuters Support to act. With this new ability being available, it is recommended that your internal Support team and leadership are made aware of the enhancement. It positions your staff to move faster.

GoFileRoom Add-in

GoFileRoom Add-in v24.1.3. is now available for download from the menu bar. This Add-in release is an optional installation, it doesn't give more functionality or features. It addresses an Add-in installation issue, specific to deploying the add-in on certain terminal server environments. Action is only needed if you are experiencing sign-in issues with your network deployments or advised by Thomson Reuters support.

Issues resolved

  • Approval of document policies: We’ve corrected an issue that allowed purge policies to be approved by a single record manager. Now, the manager who created the policy is no longer able to approve the same policy for creation, modification, deletion, or execution. Recycle and Policy Management will be automatically executed overnight after the 2 approvals.
  • FirmFlow Report, WIP DETAIL (BY User) Error: When making clickable selections on the report and attempting to drill down into details, it was possible to receive the error:
    An error has occurred, please refresh your browser.
    We’ve corrected this error.
  • NetClient CS/ClientFlow: When selecting the Resend Email and activation emails to clients, it was possible to receive the error:
    An error has occurred. Unable to find the user, please reload the page and try again.
    This problem only presented when the email address contained a + sign or alias.
  • Duplicate notifications/repeat email alerts: We’ve corrected an issue when routing a workflow where the application would send duplicate email notifications.
