Using the Dashboards Page
- TheVisualizationspanel lets you add a visualization of a specific type to the dashboard. Click an icon in the panel to add a visualization. The visualization you choose depends on the kind of information you want to display, and some visualizations are better suited to some kinds of data than others. For example, a map implies that you will set up a visualization showing statistics for a geographical entity, such as matter country or billing country.
- TheFieldspanel lets you add fields to the visualization you selected.






- SelectHome > Dashboard Managerfrom the left navigation.
- On the toolbar, selectCreate Dashboard.
- Use theDashboard Typedrop-down list to specify whether the dashboard is personal, company-wide, or a persona-based dashboard.
- In theDashboard Titlefield, specify a name for the dashboard (50-character limit).
- In theDashboard Descriptionfield, enter a short description to help identify the dashboard. (Optional).
- Click theCreatebutton to open the dashboard editor.
- A new panel opens that you can use to customize the visualizations for your dashboard:
- Use theFieldspane to select the fields to include in your dashboard.
- Use theVisualizationspane to define the visualizations you want to include.
- You can drag and drop fields onto theFilterspane to apply filters. Filters can be applied for visualizations, individual pages and all pages.
See the section "The Dashboard Panels" above for a more detailed explanation about fields and visualizations. - On the toolbar, selectSave & close.
- SelectHome > Dashboard Managerin the left navigation.
- Scroll through the list of available dashboards and click the title of the dashboard you want to open and select the hyperlinked name.

- Open the Dashboard Manager (Home > Dashboard Managerin the left navigation).
- Click the title of a dashboard to open it.
- Select the edit icon
next to the dashboard you want to edit.
- Open the Dashboard Manager (Home > Dashboard Managerin the left navigation).
- In theActionscolumn, select the star icon to the far right of the dashboard you want to use as your home page.

- Open the Dashboard Manager (Home > Dashboard Managerin the left navigation).
- Select the share icon
to the far right of the dashboard you want to share.
tipYou can also share a dashboard by opening the dashboard and selectingSharefrom the toolbar. - A list of users appears, along with some fields to help you quickly find specific users. The fields are optional.FieldDescriptionShared
- All – Shows a list of all users. This is the default setting.
- Only Shared – Returns a list of users with whom this dashboard has already been shared.
- Only Unshared – Returns a list of users who have not been granted access to the dashboard.
NameYou can use this field to narrow your search to a specific user or users. Type a user's name in this field to help you locate the user using their name.EmailType an email in this field to help you locate the user using their email address.OfficeType an email in this field to help you locate the user using their office.Participant tagsUse the dropdown to find users by participant tag.Locate the user or users in the list and check the checkbox next to the names of users with whom you want to share this dashboard. - ClickSave. The dashboard will appear on the user's dashboard manager screen.
- Select the share icon
to the far right of the dashboard you want to stop sharing, or select
Sharefrom the toolbar. - In the list of names that appears, clear the checkbox next to the names of the users that want to stop sharing the dashboard with.tipYou can selectOnly Sharedin theShareddropdown to quickly find all users with whom this dashboard is currently shared.
- SelectSave.
- When prompted, clickOKto verify that you want to stop sharing this dashboard.
- Open the Dashboard Manager (Home > Dashboard Managerin the left navigation).
- Click the title of a dashboard to open it.
- Select the delete icon
next to the dashboard you want to remove.
- On the toolbar, selectExport. A panel opens that provides options for exporting the dashboard.
- Select the output format.
- PowerPoint: Each page of the dashboard will be presented in its own slide in PowerPoint.
- PDF: The dashboard will be exported as a .pdf file.
- Use the dropdown to select the pages to export. The default isAll.
- Next toDelivery Method, check a checkbox to specify how you want to receive or distribute the exported dashboard.
