Creating and working with SharePoint documents

SharePoint Online is a web-based application from Microsoft that is used for collaboration and information exchange. Company users can upload files from SharePoint Online directly to matters in Tracker, and move matter documents from Tracker to SharePoint Online. It is not necessary for companies to provide firm user access to SharePoint Online to use this feature.
When integration with SharePoint Online is enabled you can:
  • Import a document copy or document link into Tracker from SharePoint Online. Your company's SharePoint Online taxonomy or workflows are not affected.
  • Move Tracker-managed documents to SharePoint Online. Moved documents become SharePoint Online links in Tracker.
  • Decide where documents are stored and how they are shared.
  • Share Tracker-managed matter document copies with outside counsel.
  • Share documents with internal users through direct Tracker links.
Legal tracker integration with SharePoint Online is compatible with the Azure Active Directory integration, but not required
