Budget Report (Core Data Warehouse): Includes a breakdown of budget information for multiple budgets or matters using structured data from the Thomson Reuters-managed customer data warehouse.
Invoices Report (Core Data Warehouse): Shows invoice information, including date ranges and invoice statuses (approved, pending and rejected) using structured data from the Thomson Reuters-managed customer data warehouse.
Invoices - LEDES Utilization Report: Lets you see the types of invoices your firms submit, including LEDES 1998B, LEDES 1998BI, LEDES XML 2.1, and Non-LEDES. It is not intended to provide individual invoice amount information.
Date Range
This is set to return results for invoices posted this fiscal year (FY-Current). Click edit to filter by another invoice date type (for example, billing period end date, date approved, etc.) and range.
Subtotal by: Invoice Type
–Groups the report results by invoice type, so that you can quickly see the firms and numbers of invoices under each invoice type.
Invoices & Invoice Acct. Codes Report: This report shows detailed invoice and spending information. You can filter the results to include just certain types of invoices, such as only invoices that were approved and paid in full. The report includes various criteria for reporting invoice information, including AP information. Use this report to show which invoices will be included in the next AP batch.
To see which invoices will be included in the next AP batch, configure this report to return only invoices that have been approved but have not been sent to AP.
In the
Edit Filter: Status

Unapproved
check box. This returns only those invoices that have been approved.

Law Firm Addresses: Lets you create a list of physical addresses for your firms.
Law Firm Email Addresses: Lets you see the names and email addresses for the Lead System Administrator and Primary Billing Contact at each of your firms.
Litigation Estimated Exposure: Lets you see at a glance your company's total potential exposure for any number of matters.
The Litigation Estimated Exposure report contains these pre-selected filters:
Exposure (amount claimed against company)
: This is set to return results for anything greater than $0. Click edit to increase the threshold amount.
Matter: Open/Closed
: This is set to return results only for open matters. Click edit to return results for closed matters or open and closed matters.
Litigation Estimated Recovery: Lets you quickly see your company's potential recovery on a matter or matters.
The Litigation Estimated Recovery report contains the following pre-selected filters:
Recovery (amount claimed by company)
: This is set to return results for which the amount claimed is greater than $0. Click edit to increase the threshold amount.
Matter: Open/Closed
: This is set to return results only for open matters. Click edit to also see results for closed matters.
Matters (Core Data Warehouse): Provides information from the matter profile as well as matter financial information using structured data from the Thomson Reuters-managed customer data warehouse.
Matter Resolution: Enables you to evaluate matters after they are resolved, so that you can assess the performance of your outside counsel, as well as get a complete financial picture of the matter, including any amount paid or recovered in judgment.
The Matter Resolution Report provides you with information about matters after they are resolved. The report includes financial data, as well as other information to help you evaluate the performance of your outside counsel. For example, the report includes the outside counsel evaluation results, as well as spending compared to budget and details about how—and how quickly—the matter was resolved.
Duration (Actual)
: For closed matters, the Duration is the number of days from the Start Date specified by company users in the matter profile to the Resolution Date specified by company users in the Close Matter form. For open matters, the duration is the number of days from the Start Date, specified by company users in the Matter Profile to today's date.
Duration (Estimated)
: The number of days from the "Start Date" (specified by company users in the Matter Profile) to the "Estimated Resolution Date" (specified by the lead law firm users, or if there is not a lead law firm then by company users, in the Matter Profile).
Spending > Approved/In Approval - Total (Including Tax)
: The total amount of fees, expenses and tax that has been approved or is currently in the approval process. This a field-level filter and is set to return results where the invoice is approved and paid in full, approved and modified, and unapproved. There is no date limitation specified. Click edit to return results for rejected or reversed invoices, or to set a date range specification.
Amount Paid
: This is the amount paid in any judgment. It is not the amount paid for legal services.
Amount Received
: The amount the company received as a result of judgment.
Total Outlay
: Total spending plus the amount paid, minus the amount received.
Estimate of Total Outlay
: The amount of the Budget Allocated Total + Company Estimate of Exposure minus Company Estimate of Recovery. Thus, if the Estimate is a positive number (i.e. greater than $0), then the estimated net result was that the company would lose money. On the other hand, if the Estimate is a negative number (i.e. less than $0), then the estimated net result was that the company would make money.
Lead Outside Counsel Evaluation > Lead OC Evaluation (Average Score & Internal Comments): Average of all outside counsel evaluations in the matter.
Budget Allocated by Date > Budget: Allocated Total: This is a field-level filter. It is set to use the law firm matter budget as the source, and there is no date range specified. Click edit to change the budget source and limit the results by a date range.

Spending and Alerts by Task Codes: Lets you see levels, alert triggers, and spend for each task code on each matter. The report is designed to return results where there is either an Alert Trigger Amount or Approved Invoices for the task code and matter in question.
Task Code Spending & Alerts Level
—The level of the task code in question. Possibilities include: Code Set, Phase, and Task Code.
Task Code Spending & Alerts : Level Name
—The name of the level of the task code in question. For example, the level name for the Litigation code set is "L - Litigation." The level name for the first phase of the Litigation task code is "L1 - Assessment." And "L110 - Fact Investigation/Development" is the level name for a task code in the L1 phase of the Litigation code set.
Task Code Alerts > Alert Trigger Amount (Matter)
—The Alert Trigger Amount for the task code and matter in question. This field will return any alert triggers that you have entered for the task code on the matter.
Task Code Spending & Alerts: Approved Invoices
—The dollar amount approved for the task code in question on invoices posted to the matter in question.
Task Code Spending & Alerts: Amount Remaining (Matter)
—The dollar amount remaining to be spent for the task code in question on invoices posted to the matter in question. The Amount Remaining will display the difference between the Alert Trigger Amount and the Approved Invoices for that task code on that matter. If no Alert Trigger Amount has been set for that task code on that matter, then the amount displayed will be displayed as a negative, as though the alert trigger amount is $0.
Task Code Spending & Alerts: % Spent
—The percentage spent, taking the Approved Invoices divided by the Alert Trigger Amount for the task code and matter in question.The Percentage Amount will be rounded up to the nearest hundredths decimal place.
Matter Open/Closed
: This is set to return results for open matters. Click

Advanced Filter: 1 or 2.
This means that the report will apply either filter 1 (Full Year Budget) or filter 2 (Full Year Spend). The report results, therefore, will not include matters where either there is no budget or no spend this fiscal year. The report results will include matters where there is a budget and no spend for the current fiscal year, or there is spend and no budget for the current fiscal year.
Timekeeper Entries (Core Data Warehouse): Lets you quickly view your timekeeper entries using structured data from the Thomson Reuters-managed customer data warehouse.
Timekeeper Rates - Average Hourly: Lets you quickly see the average hourly rates for each timekeeper classification at each firm. For example, you can see the average timekeeper hourly rates for classifications such as Associates, Of Counsel, Partners, Paralegals, etc., for each firm.
Formula: "Line Item Total" divided by "Hours"
—This formula divides the Line Item Total by Hours to return the Average Hourly Rate (the custom name for Column C). You can select

Effective (Post-Adjustment) Units
: The units (hours) after adjustments (i.e., that are approved).
Effective (Post-Adjustment) Total
: The line item totals after adjustments (i.e., that are approved).
LEDES Line Item Type: This is set to return results for Fees only. Click edit to narrow results to other LEDES Line Item Types (e.g., Expenses, Invoice Level Adjustment to Fees, Tax, etc., but note that limiting the results to Fees will achieve the desired results of the report--to highlight average hourly timekeeper rates.
Invoice > Billing Period End Date: This is set to return results for invoices where the billing period end date is the current fiscal year (FY-Current). Click edit to narrow the results to another billing period end date time period.
Invoice > Status: This is set to return results for invoices that have been Approved - Paid in Full, or Approved - Modified. Click edit to narrow the results by another invoice status criteria.

Display
section of Report Builder includes subtotal, sort, and graph functions. For more information, see Display options.
Subtotal by
: 1. Invoice > Firm or Vendor Name, then 2. Timekeeper Classification. This will group the report results first by firm, and then under each firm the results will be grouped by Timekeeper Classification.
Sort by
: Average Hourly Rate [Column C], descending.
Timekeeper Rate Sheet Savings: This report can help timekeeper rate reviewers, invoice reviewer who can approve timekeeper rates, or company system administrators determine how much your company has saved by using timekeeper rate sheets submitted by your law firms.
Volume Discount - Current Arrangement: Shows details of your volume discounts, including the tiers and details about each.
