Use the Log Off Applications tool

The Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS) Log Off Applications tool searches for your Citrix sessions on the Virtual Office CS or SaaS servers, and logs off any sessions that it finds. If an application has been unresponsive for a significant period, or if you receive an error when trying to open a Virtual Office CS or SaaS application, you can try to log off from any Citrix sessions using this tool, then re-launch your applications.
Use the Log Off Applications tool when:
  • An application isn't responding, you've allowed enough time to complete any long-running tasks, and you believe it may be locked up.
  • You open a Virtual Office CS or SaaS application and you're prompted that only 1 instance of the application is allowed, but you can't access and close any other instances.
  • You experience an internet connection issue and can't open your applications upon reconnecting.
  • You receive a Citrix error message on a computer on which you have previously launched Virtual Office CS or SaaS applications successfully.
  1. If you can, save any work in your open Virtual Client Office applications and close them. You'll lose any unsaved work when the tool closes your applications.
  2. Open the Log Off Applications tool from your portal.
  3. When the tool opens, enter
    logoff
in the text field and select
    Continue
    .
The Log Off Applications tool searches for your open Virtual Client Office sessions and logs them off. This process closes all Virtual Client Office applications, whether or not they're responding. When the search is complete, you'll receive a summary of the log off attempt.
  4. Try launching your applications again.
If you still can't open your applications, contact your accountant or administrator.
