Utilities explained for Excel Add-in

Utilities includes: Formula Locator, Reports, and System Status Page.

Formula Locator

This feature allows you to select cells containing the target range to find the corresponding formula cells.
To create a preview showing the formula locations:
  1. In Excel, select a range of worksheet cells that contains a target.
  2. Go to
    Workpapers
    ,
    Formula Locator
    , and then
    Locate Formulas
    .
  3. Select the link listed for
    Formula Location
    to go to the formula cell.
tip
You can also select
Formula Report
if you prefer to generate a separate worksheet listing all formulas and their locations.
To create a complete report showing the formula locations in a separate worksheet:
  1. Select a range of worksheet cells that contains a target.
  2. Go to
    Workpapers
    ,
    Formula Locator
    and then
    Formula Locator Report
    .
  3. Select the links in the new #Formula-Finder-List# worksheet for either Target/Input Range or Formula Cell.

Reports

You can generate a complete list of formulas in a workpaper by select
Reports
,
Formula map
. Workpapers inserts another worksheet in your workpaper with the report results.

System Status Page

This page displays the statuses by region, as well as messages and scheduled downtime notifications, including:
  • Scheduled system maintenance.
  • Uptime / availability of a ONESOURCE product.
