Client portal setup

If you're licensed for the Client Management module and NetFirm CS, you can set up web portals for staff members and client contacts to share files with them securely
Follow these steps to set up a new portal.
  1. Go to
    Setup
    , then
    Clients
    , followed by
    Contact Info
    for your client.
  2. Enter the email address for your contact.
  3. Choose a
    Portal
    to link this Practice CS contact.
  4. Select
    Actions
    then
    Add Portal
    if there isn't an existing NetClient portal.
Your contact receives an email after you save. At this stage, the portal has a status of
Unregistered
and can't be used for file transfers until the contact completes registration.
