Change project due dates because of COVID-19 tax extension

If you need to change the due date of a single project, double-click the project and edit the
Current
field in the Due dates section.
Individual tax filing deadlines for Federal returns and many state returns have been adjusted due to Notice 2020-18 (COVID-19) relief for federal extension of time to file and pay. Follow these steps in Practice CS to make mass updates to the due dates for your firm's projects.

Change due dates on multiple projects

  1. Select
    Actions
    , then
    Manage Projects
    .
  2. Select the projects to change the due dates for. Use SHIFT or CTRL to make your selections.
  3. Right-click and select
    Edit Selected Projects
    .
  4. Leave the
    Change Project information
    option selected and select
    Next
    .
  5. Select
    Current Due Date
    from the 1st dropdown list.
  6. Select the new due date to apply to all selected projects in the 2nd dropdown list.
  7. Select
    Finish
    , then select
    Yes
    to confirm.
