Tracking description set to Started when the project is added or generated

When you add a project to a client or the project reoccurs, the new project is given a tracking description of
Started
, even though the tracking description in the project template is
Not Started
.
This is most often caused when the tracking description is set to something other than
Not Started
for 1 or more tasks in the template.
Follow these steps to fix this:
  1. Set the Tracking Description on all tasks to
    Not Started
    in the project template.
  2. For projects already added or generated, you can:
    1. Change the tracking description on all tasks to
      Not Started
. Then change the tracking description on the project to
      Not Started
. You must open the project and first change the tracking description on all the tasks, then change the tracking description on the project before selecting
      OK
on the project to save the changes to the project and tasks.
    2. After changing the tracking description on the tasks in the project template, delete the project and re-add it or let the system regenerate it if the generation option on the project template is set to generate
n months and n days before due
. If the generation option is set to anything else, you can manually regenerate the project by right-clicking on the previous occurrence of the project and selecting
      Generate Next Project
      .
