Bookmarking pages
Bookmarking a page deletes all references, except Primary and Secondary identifier fields (Payer's name, EIN, SSN) on the source document. The amounts won’t be exported to the tax software. You can select the
Bookmark Only
checkbox to bookmark the current page.

Organizer

), you can bookmark multiple organizer pages in bulk to save time.Bookmark Only checkbox

check box bookmarks the document in the Verification Wizard and deletes all references, except Primary and Secondary identifier fields (Payer's name, EIN, SSN) on the source document.note
OCR automatically bookmarks Federal K-1 if it is an IRA. However, you can manually select/clear the check box if necessary.
Follow these steps to use the
Bookmark only
functionality for data captured by OCR:- Select theBookmark Onlycheckbox.
- All references, except Primary and Secondary identifier fields, are turned off in the lower viewing area and the page is bookmarked i.e. no amount data will be exported from that page.
The page will be displayed only in the following wizards:
- Child Form Association:You can define the relationship of any document and properly associate it to the respective parent.
- New Form Review:If the Payer name is not matched to the proforma’d name, there is a facility to bookmark pages to the proforma’d entity.
If you erroneously selected the
Bookmarks Only
check box and want to capture all data from that page, clear the Bookmark Only
check box to re-enable all fields in the lower viewing area.Automatically bookmark organizer pages

and also checked the box Show all organizer page(s) in the Review Wizard

If the document spans multiple pages (Consolidated Statement page 1 of 5) then you can select
Bookmark Only
to bookmark that page and all pages connected to that page will also bookmark automatically. Conversely, you can clear the Bookmark Only
checkbox on one of the pages to clear the bookmark from all pages in the current set.Multi-page documents include:
- Schedule K-1
- Consolidated Statements
- Grantor Letters
Example: For a 100-page Consolidated Statement, you can now bookmark page 1 to apply the same bookmark to the other remaining (99) pages in the document set. Conversely, you can clear the checkbox to clear the bookmark from all the pages in the set.
Schedule K-1
Example: If a Schedule K-1 is 5 pages, bookmarking Page 1 will automatically bookmark the other remaining pages on the Verification step, including State K-1's.
Any pages connected will be auto-bookmarked.

Bookmarking a Federal K-1 will bookmark all Federal K-1, State K-1, and Supplemental Pages associated with the Federal K-1. If you didn’t bookmark the Federal K-1 but individually bookmarked a State K-1, then only that State K-1 and its supplemental pages will be bookmarked.
Clearing the IRA/SEP checkbox on a Federal K-1 document removes “
Bookmark Only
” from all pages linked to that K-1. Users will see the following confirmation message:
This page is part of a multi-page document. Clearing the selected checkbox will remove the bookmark from all pages linked to this document. Are you sure you want to remove bookmarks from all pages associated with this document?
Consolidated Statements
Selecting
Bookmark Only
on any page of the Consolidated Statement will sync the bookmark selection to all the pages associated with the Consolidated Statement.

Firms can place SurePrep barcodes on pages to automatically bookmark a document when scanned by OCR. Pages with a
Bookmark Only
barcode placed on it will automatically skip to the next Review Wizard step, if applicable. Bulk Bookmark multiple organizer pages
To bookmark multiple organizer documents at once, click the 
icon on the toolbar.

Select the check box next to the pages that should be bookmarked. You can also choose

if you want to select all pages at once.

You can only bulk bookmark organizer pages. Pages that aren't selected as
Document Type - Organizer
won't appear in the list.Select

Bookmark Only
checkbox selected.
