SurePrep allowlist domain and software

SurePrep understands the importance of security and the need to be confident that customers are communicating with SurePrep servers in a secure environment.

Domains to allowlist

SurePrep advises allowlisting at the domain level (for example, *.sureprep.com) instead of using numeric IPs. This approach prevents service disruptions caused by changes in network conditions or traffic patterns.
Domains to whitelist:
sureprep.com
production.sureprep.com
zendesk.com
zopim.com
academysureprep.zendesk.com
rwapi.sureprep.com

IP address

SurePrep's IP addresses change frequently and we can't guarantee advance notice of these changes. We may be able to provide the list of current addresses if available. However, customers shouldn't use these addresses for mission-critical applications and never hard code them in DNS names.

Email addresses to allowlist

What Is An Email Safe Sender List

Each email program features spam filters that automatically recognize allowlisted and blocklisted email addresses. Allowlisted addresses are acceptable and delivered to your inbox. Blocklisted addresses are senders from which you don’t want to receive email communication from. The Safe Senders List, also commonly referred to as an Allowlist, is a list of all email addresses you would like to receive email from. Our support and training-related emails to you can be inadvertently blocked or filtered into your junk folder and as a result you may not receive important communications. To avoid this, add the following email address domains to your Safe Senders List.
Safe Senders List
Your Safe Senders List can be managed at the firm-wide level by your IT staff by allowlisting the following domains:
  • @thomsonreuters.com
  • @sureprep.com
  • @sureprep.zendesk.com
  • @taxcaddy.com
  • @statuspage.io
  • @academysureprep.zendesk.com
Your Safe Senders list can also be managed by you within your email program. By default, when you add email messages to your personal address book, they are safe. These messages won’t go to your junk email folder.
